I was planning to get back to posting on the book today - Part 2 of I've Got An Idea - but I couldn't leave that Main Squeeze promo photo as the last image I am remembered for if I happen to fall off the face of the Earth. The thought is so strong that it's almost 4am and I still can't fall asleep.
So, I've decided to post one of my most favorite photographs now. And to add a little fun to the blog I'm going to make this post a CONTEST, complete with a prize. Everybody ready?
The Prize: A signed copy of Everybody I Shot Is Dead or a signed print of the contest photograph. Winner's choice.
The Contest: Name the three people in the photograph and identify where it was taken. The First and Last name of each person is required.
How to Enter: Post your answer in the comment section of this post. And remember there is no such thing as a stupid answer. Feel free to guess. The first entrant to get it right wins. Put an email address on your entry so I can find you. Oh, and you can enter more than once. The contest ends when I announce the winner.
Eligibility: Anyone can enter. And as a bonus, if you happen to be one of the people in the picture, I will also take you to lunch.

Whohoo, o I forgot the other two. But one is Lowell George =)
Cheers
The kid looks like Sissy Spacek.
So it is in a dressing room and my guess from left to right is. Mo Ostin, Inara George and Lowell George.
Please let me know If I'm right or wrong...the suspence is killing me...arghh!
Sorry to drive you crazy El Gordo but I really appreciate your persistence. At this point, I will tell you that your Inara guess is warm, but she was probably a toddler when this photo was taken.
Also, I may post another shot that will give a better clue as to the exact location. "Dressing room" is too general.
It's all about figuring out the time frame of the photo and then doing a little research as to where they were playing.
So, there are some clues for everybody to get in the game.
(Putting this in the correct thread, and hoping it's a winner :-) )
Okay, WRT "It's a Contest", on the left is Mo Ostin, head of Warner Bros. records at the time. On the right is the legendary Lowell George, and in the middle is one of Lowell's sons, Jed, Forrest, or Luke. I know Forrest remains a big Little Feat fan, so I'm leaning towards him, but I can't be sure. They are obviously standing in the L.A. Lakers dressing room at the Forum in Inglewood, CA, which means that this photo was probably taken on December 19, 1975.
Oh yes, and that's John Sebastian talking to Lowell in the second picture. Lowell played on his 1974 Tarzana Kid album (where John covered Dixie Chicken, BTW).
I sure miss Lowell...
