Ride the Bus

If you are an artist - whether you are a painter, photographer, musician or writer (especially a writer) - you can't sit at home or in your studio every day creating your art. And you can't just go out in your car to a grocery store or to a party or to a friend's house.

You really need to ride the bus.

Of course, I 'm using 'ride the bus' metaphorically as well as literally. Your bus may be the subway or a flea market or Union Station or a local park...places where you find a cross-section of humanity...because that's where you'll find your inspiration. And your art.
