Tony Hicks played drums with a jazz-rock trio out of Yorkshire called Back Door. They scored a record deal with Warner Bros. in the early seventies and soon found themselves touring with the likes of Deep Purple, the J. Geils Band and Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
